Tourism Consultancy associate team expanded

As per September 7th, 2009, Ester Kruk is part of Tourism Consultancy’s associate team. Ester has nine years of experience in pro-poor sustainable tourism planning and development. For the past five years, she has worked as a regional tourism expert and co-ordinator for the Himalaya region. Previously, she worked as a tourism consultant, a pro-poor tourism advisor, and project co-ordinator for several organizations, including SNV and UNDP. She has worked and lived in 16 Asian countries, as well as in North and Latin America, and speaks Dutch, English, German, Italian and French. She holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology (Free University of Amsterdam), as well as International Tourism Management and Consultancy (Breda University of Applied Sciences), and wrote several tourism books. She is currently based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
