Jeroen van Wilgen has experience in tourism destination marketing, and is specialized in destination branding, strategy- and business planning for emerging- and mature tourism businesses. He has worked in the The Netherlands, the USA, Spain and Botswana and speaks Dutch, English, Spanish and German. Jeroen is a graduate in Tourism Destination Management from the Breda University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands and is currently also based in the Netherlands.
Project experience: full scope business planning for a five star lodge in the Okavango Delta (Botswana), implementation of a marketing strategy for a Nature Reserve, facility- and marketing management for a holiday & healthcare resort in Spain, research of the effects of 9/11 on a New York-based destination management company (study).

Janine van Wilgen is experienced in the field of sustainable tourism. She is specialized in heritage management and has a great affinity with sustainable- and small-scale tourism. She has worked in The Netherlands, Belize, Finland, Spain and Botswana and speaks Dutch, English and Spanish. Janine is a graduate in International Tourism Management and Consultancy from the Breda University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands and is currently based in Africa.
Project experience: tourism research for a five star lodge in the Okavango Delta (Botswana), surveys for the Belize Tourism Industry Association, development strategy of a heritage destination in Finland, marketing and PR for a chain of holiday homes throughout Europe, and fundraising and awareness creation for a specific business unit of a Nature Reserve.
Ester Kruk has nine years of experience in pro-poor sustainable tourism planning and development. For the past five years, she has worked as a regional tourism expert and co-ordinator for the Himalaya region. Previously, she worked as a tourism consultant, a pro-poor tourism advisor, and project co-ordinator for several organizations, including UNDP. She has worked and lived in 16 Asian countries, as well as in North and Latin America, and speaks Dutch, English, German, Italian and French. She holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology (Free University of Amsterdam), as well as International Tourism Management and Consultancy (Breda University of Applied Sciences), and wrote several tourism books. She is currently based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Project experience: Great Himalaya Trail Developement, transboundary tourism development, project cycle facilitation, monitoring and assessing tourism pilots/projects, community based tourism planning, participatory approaches and tools, sustainable tourism market linkages, tourism impact assessments, (pre) feasibility studies, tourism policy reviews, capacity building and training.
Hugo de Jong works on sustainable tourism development with local authorities, (international) NGO’s and private sector parties. Hugo is specialised in the strategic planning of sustainable tourism and in the assessment of impacts from tourism on socio-economic development on local and regional levels. He has worked in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Costa Rica, Fiji, New Zealand and The Netherlands and speaks Dutch, English and Spanish. He holds an MSc degree in Leisure, Tourism & Environment from Wageningen University and is a graduate in International Tourism Management & Consultancy from the Breda University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands. He is currently based in Latin America.
Project experience: sustainable tourism strategy development for a rural community in Salta (Argentina), tourism research in Tarija (Bolivia), tourism-for-development project evaluation in Fiji, tourism business development in Huaraz (Peru), destination analysis in Corcovado (Costa Rica) and various recreation research projects in The Netherlands.
Nicolaas Pereboom advises companies and institutions in the travel, hospitality, tourism and MICE industries on how to apply mobile, web 2.0 and social media marketing for promotion, branding and PR. In the past, he has worked at Fokker (aviation), Philips/Origin (ICT), and Timespots (first online mobile tourist guide – Amsterdam). He has worked in Europe, Africa (Kenya, Libya), Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Taiwan, Iran), and speaks Dutch, English and French. He holds a Master of Arts degree European Studies (University of Amsterdam) and an MBA and MBI (Master of Business Informatics) degree (Rotterdam School of Management University/ Georgia State University) and is currently based in the Netherlands.
Project experience: design and web 2.0 and mobile platforms and social media marketing consultancy for cities, regions, tourist offices, convention bureaus, airlines, hotels and destination branding organisations.
Eveline Hansen is experienced in working with small- and large scale International Tourism Businesses. Eveline is specialized in cross-cultural studies and International Marketing. She has worked in The Netherlands, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Germany and Spain and speaks Dutch, English and Spanish. Eveline is a graduate in International Tourism Management and Consultancy from the Breda University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands. She is currently based in Barcelona, Spain.
Project experience: micro scale marketing research for an international institute in Bocas del Toro (Panama), tourism research projects for National Parks in Manuel Antonio and Punta Judas (Costa Rica), marketing analysis for the Hotel chain Fiesta Americana in combination with incoming tourism in Guadalajara (Mexico), product marketing research in Bali (Indonesia).
